Part of Green Concord's mission is to foster a greener way of doing business and create a truly sustainable local economy. As a way to fulfill that mission, we have developed a variety of projects that promote education about improving our environment and provide leadership and role modelling for environmentally responsible attitudes.

Green Living Film Series at Red River -- The Green Living Series is a monthly film screening organized and presented by Green Concord and in collaboration with our local independent Red River Theatres. The screenings and post-film panel discussions are a chance to learn and discuss various environmental and social issues alongside local specialists and fellow community members. Green Concord Recycling Bin Program -- We strive to be active in the community and provide support for environmentally-friendly events. Our distinctive green bins are providing public recycling on Main Street and are featured at many outdoor events such as Market Days and the Multicultural Festival.

Support of NH Lakes' Rain Barrel Project - NH Lakes' Rain Barrel Project encourages residents to use rain barrels to conserve and protect New Hampshire's freshwater. Green Concord helps to sponsor this program by covering costs of paints for participating schools in the Concord area community.
